Midwest Wedding Vendor Collaboration
We knew the moment we saw this private space the first time that we had to have a shoot here and finally three years later we made it happen with the help of two of our favorite local vendors, and friends, Jessica Blex Photography and Attitude on Food. When we shared the photos with these vendors they too shared the same excitement and we began the planning process. Overall we wanted to mix together modern and traditional by bouncing the modern decor off of the vintage ballroom backdrop. The idea is to hopefully give our modern sophisticated brides options for their weddings and how they can incorporate their style and tastes into an older ballroom setting while also incorporating some of our ideas into their day.
When designing a styled shoot and bringing together a handful of vendors we love starting off with an initial moodboard for an overall concept that everyone can work off of for a cohesive look however we like to give each vendor their freedom to do whatever they want from that point on and have fun with it. From the dress to the invitations to the food we think everything came together perfectly!
From the caterer "Our inspiration for the menu items we chose were based on trends we were seeing. It was a mix of custom and unique hors dβoeuvres, in place of a traditional buffet. We also chose desserts that could be customized to a theme and would work well as a dessert bar. All of the food we selected for this shoot were truly some of our favorites with a mix of some new ideas and items we would love to see brides add to their own menu!"
