The Rose Joy Story
The personal inspiration behind the company, aesthetic, and commitment to the craft
Rose Joy was born out of a passion for floral design and personalized gifting.
Formerly known as Petals to Platinum, founder Lindsey Raridon started the business a decade ago in her home and quickly moved to a 900 sq. foot studio. Since then, we have grown from creating floral masterpieces for 7 weddings per year to over 100 weddings, and in 2018, we began offering event rentals in order to share our expansive inventory with couples throughout the area. Lindsey has been designing for over 22 years and uses her 100% self-taught wedding stylist skills to transform ideas and concepts into memorable, one-of-a-kind floral designs.
Rose and Joy
The company is named after Lindsey’s grandmothers, Rose and Joy. Their influence extends beyond our business name into the heart of the company itself. Rose was a very put-together and elegant woman who always made the family feel special with her curated touches like special candy dishes and servingware. Joy gave Lindsey her passion for gift giving, always going out of her way to find the most perfect item for someone. This passion extends into Rose Joy and the way Lindsey curates her inventory.

Lindsey
Owner, creative director
AKA “Chief Flower Lover”
Founder and owner Lindsey Raridon is the creative visionary behind Rose Joy’s recognizable style. Lindsey’s unique approach and eye has been featured in some of the most distinguished wedding publications in the country, including Style Me Pretty, Green Wedding Shoes, and Junebug Weddings. As a completely self-taught florist with over 20 years of experience, Lindsey takes a distinct approach to wedding floral design. Her work is inspired by her grandmothers (Rose and Joy, the company namesake), who taught her the art of creativity and gift giving from a young age.
She began working with flowers in highschool in the grocery store floral department and continued into college working at a floral shop. Although her methods and artistry have been refined over the years, one thing hasn’t changed: the way Lindsey loves to bring joy to others through flowers.
Lindsey is a Nebraska native, born in Omaha and raised in Lincoln. After a stint in Chicago, she and her husband Jeremy were thrilled to move back home in 2012. When Lindsey isn’t fluffing a centerpiece or triple-checking a floral arrangement order, she’s probably sitting with their 50-pound border collie Elly...in her lap! Lindsey loves crafting, gift-giving, entertaining, wine tasting, new culinary experiences, and traveling.
